Here's a secret - you don't need to be! We have tons of cool tricks, tips and amazing techniques that will help your art work come out just the way you want it. The fun part is in getting to make it yourself!

Our Amazing Art Projects are designed for the whole family from kid to parents to grandparents to great-granparents - everyone is welcome. Did you know baby footprints and little (or big!) kid handprints can make great gifts?

No. Our Walk-in area is open during all our store hours for anyone who wants to come in and do art. If you want to you may call ahead (301-355-6830) to see if we are busy but otherwise just come on by!

No, our prices are inclusive of studio time & supplies.  You are welcome to create for as long as you want.  If you are unable to finish your project in one visit you can come back another day to finish for only a $5 return visit fee.

All pieces that are left and fired are foodsafe (Ceramics or Glass). Items painted with Acrylics are not.

Mosaicing is a two-step process. The first step is arranging multicolored tile on a wooden base and glueing it down (If you love puzzles this is the project for you). Then 24-48 hours later you grout the piece to create the finished look. You can either take your piece home and grout it or we can grout it for you for an additional fee.

We don't reccommend using a dishwasher or microwave as it could cause cracking or chipping. Pieces are NOT oven safe.

Guaranteed turn around is one week. Rush fees can apply for shorter turn around.

How does glass fusing work?

We take you through about an orientation. We teach you to score and break glass and how to use our design center. You then arrange your design on top of a base which we fuse together and "slump" into a shape for you. This firing process also takes a week!

Yes, our kiln heats up to 1860 degrees so we really are "firing" it. :)

Sorry not at this time. We can't be sure what type of bisque or paints you used and whether its compatible with our process.
